The story behind the design
Van Gogh painted his famous Sunflowers in Arles in 1888 to decorate the room of a friend he hoped would join him in the south of France. This hoodie imagines him in the middle of that work, brush in hand, surrounded by the sketches and portraits that filled his short and restless career. On the chest, a small Sunflowers canvas and a Vincent signature keep the front simple while the full scene plays out on the back.
